SPEAR
Spear, formerly known as Resurgo, is one of the UK’s most effective youth employment charities. Its vision is for every young person in the UK, regardless of their background, to fulfil their unique potential and contribute to society. This is done through an award-winning Spear Programme, which coaches 16–24-year-olds facing barriers to work into sustained employment or education. Spear focuses on the attitudinal and behavioural patterns that are holding young people back, while equipping them with the hard skills they need to find a job. Since 2004, Spear has coached more than 11,000 young people, now at 18 Spear Centres around the UK. Of young people who complete the initial foundation phase of Spear, over 70% are still in work or education one year later.

Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank
Did you know, outside of the entrance to Lidl there is a drop-off point for The Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank?
Founded in 2010 as part of the Trussell Trust network with support from the local community, The Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank provides emergency food to people in crisis and support to address the underlying reasons for this crisis.
In a time of rising need, non-perishable, in-date food such as pasta sauces, tinned fish, cereal, tea bags, tinned fruit, toilet roll, biscuits and more are appreciated.
